Thoughts and motivations : This debut release is a combination of short audio pieces, placed along side one another, to form a cd which is preparing Tidy Kid for future composing tactics. "It's an exciting project to finally begin". Having composed quite a few projects over the past 7 years, in new york, australia, and germany, this project for Tidy Kid, is his most honest approach to making music to date. It's been tough to start, but with enough self debate, the project has commenced and is now complete....

Motivation for this project is driven by the satisfaction Tidy Kid receives, when sounds are allowed to come at ease. This means, avoiding judgment and disallowing your society driven conditioning, to refuse certain sounds, or song combinations. Once you kick this conditioned judgment out the door, your freedom to be kid like with your creativity can shine once again.

Contrast is a key word which helps to drive the project or at least allows the artist to accept the commencement of the project. It's really not just the music in question here, it's all about the lifestyle that Tidy Kid is aiming to live. Tidy Kid on one hand, is a successful business owner, running 2 recording studios and managing all the ins and outs of the operation. The other hand holds the passion for composing and the desire to become more and more eccentric with the way the art is created. To become madder and madder in creativity is an exciting proposition and Tidy Kid wants in! But how can one be happy with his art if the brain still has to deal so much with the business side of things, the everyday, more conditioned self. Well, to allow both contrasts to live side by side, and to receive enjoyment and satisfaction in doing so, and seeing it actually work, one needs to just accept it, and creatively realise what such a healthy relationship of conditioned and unconditioned thinking can do for both the brain (conditioned) and the mind (free). You just have to see it in a more pro type of way. This contrasting lifestyle should actually aid the artistic passion, and not frustrate. Music can be created more honestly this way.

In scientific words, like quantum physics starts to prove to us, this healthy contrast of mind power has a huge effect on the conditions around you. It has been proven to effect water, and therefore, its not to hard to believe that it can control sound waves too. So, this presents a great concept, what tidy kid likes to call, a project conditioning rule. People Sit In Cars is full of project conditioning rules, it's to condition to allow the unconditioned mind to flow through. All sounds created by Tidy Kid, must be transduced or played in by the composer, so that his/her mind motivation can help to mold the sound waves which end up becoming the final mix. This means, all sounds on the cd must be created or transduced in the presence of the composer, without use of record samples, pre made samples, disk library's and anything already created. It's great when the soul and the brain can collaborate together, working on a variety of different tasks, sometimes using more of the conditioned, and other times less and less of the conditioned.

It's Tidy Kid's aim to steadily de-condition the artistic mind away from the brain, without destroying the general well being and human nature of the physical person. You see, when you think about it that way, that's exactly why great minds become mad, they reject the brain's beauty and often miss out on so many other tools of expression, which this world, this playground we are all in, has on offer.

Hence the name Tidy Kid, Tidy stands for the organized thought process of all the above, so that its all aware to the artist and project conditioning rules can help to keep the project innovative and free, and kid stands for the kid like creativity, which the slightly less condition self gets to enjoy more often..
